About us: How do we operate?
The church is led by men called elders. They are recognised by the other church members as having the necessary God-given gifts for leadership. Their job is to serve the church by preaching and teaching God's word and providing pastoral care. These men are answerable to God and in their decisions always aim to take account of the views of the church members.
All church members meet together regularly to talk about the life and work of the church. Sometimes this is done informally but every three months there is a church business meeting, This is where important matters relating to our membership, activities and finances are discussed.
Church members are glad to contribute towards the cost of the church's work. We don't demand any particular amount nor do we try to raise money from people who are not Christians. We are glad that other churches also support us financially and have found that God has always provided more than enough to meet our needs.
