About us: Who are we?
Hope Community Church is a small but a diverse group of ordinary people with one thing in common – each one of us is glad to be called a Christian. This means that we are followers of Jesus Christ. Although Jesus taught two thousand years ago, we believe that he is alive today and we have all experienced the difference he makes in our own lives. So a Christian is someone who knows him, listens to him and does what he says.
The Bible says that all Christians have been given new spiritual life. It describes this as being born again; becoming a new creation; and moving from death to life. There's nothing special about us: we've simply received God's gift of forgiveness through Jesus, and we want others to know the good news of his love too.
Our aim is to know Jesus Christ better, to live for him, and to tell people about him known in the West End and beyond.
